Our products are carefully formulated with pregnancy in mind, using gentle, plant-based ingredients that support sensitive skin. Many mothers use them during pregnancy and postpartum as part of a clean skincare routine. That said, every pregnancy is unique, so we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider before trying any new product.
Yes. Madre Botanics was created with sensitive skin in mind. We use ingredients that are considered non-comedogenic and soothing for delicate skin. None of our face products contain added fragrance, and while some body products include essential oils for a natural aroma, we never use essential oils in face products to keep them extra gentle.
Absolutely. We are Leaping Bunny Certified, which means our products and ingredients are 100% cruelty-free. All of our skincare is also vegan — we never use animal-derived ingredients. We also prioritize sustainability, from FSC®-certified packaging to recyclable glass and compostable mailers, so your routine is kind to animals and the planet.
Some of our products, like our natural sea sponge, are gentle enough for baby’s skin. However, not all of our skincare formulations are designed for infants. Please check individual product descriptions for guidance, and when in doubt, consult your pediatrician before using any product on your baby.
All of our products are made in small batches to ensure freshness. The typical shelf life is 12 months after opening. To maintain quality, keep products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Our products are designed to be gentle, but everyone’s skin is unique. If you experience irritation, stop use right away. We recommend doing a patch test when trying a new product, especially during pregnancy or if you have very sensitive skin. If irritation continues, please consult your healthcare provider.
For best results, keep products out of direct sunlight and store them in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
